Children of all ages enjoy SciWorks’ interactive 15-acre park with exhibits like the coastal lab tank and health experiences, as well as the planetarium. The “From the Mountains to the Sea" exhibit reflects the magnificent biological and geological diversity of North Carolina. The "Millennium Fountain" features a 5,300 pound granite ball floating on water. Special programs include Pink Floyd Laser Light Show, Chemistry Day, Bodacious Bugs and constellation and lunar eclipse viewings.
