Welcome to Winston-Salem

It is almost a shame when the lights go down.

This magnificent theatre, The Stevens Center, rescued and revived, a jewel, resplendent. You weren't finished looking at everything when the lights dimmed. But its ok. You want to see the movie. It's a classic.

Any day of the week, up and coming film makers are creating movies through out Winston-Salem. Same major films have been created here also.

But we couldn't be a "film city" without a major film festival. For the top in independent film check out RiverRun International Film Festival, annually in April.
