Twin City Ribfest - June 6-9, 2013
The ninth annual Texas Pete Twin City RibFest will return to its downtown roots in 2012. The event originated in downtown Winston-Salem in 2005 and moved to the Dixie Classic Fairgrounds in 2009 where it was held for three years. The Texas Pete Twin City RibFest now partners with the Winston-Salem Journal to relocate the event to the Winston-Salem Journal’s corporate parking lots on the corner of West Fifth Street and North Marshall Street.
The ninth annual Texas Pete Twin City RibFest will be June 6-9, 2013. Twin City Ribfest is a food festival and take great pleasure in promoting NC-based food and beverage products like Texas Pete hot sauce, Foothills beer and Cheerwine.
The 2012 Texas Pete Twin City RibFest also will feature several rib cookers (ribbers) from all over the country as well as featuring over 20 musical acts will fill up three performance stages. Past performers include, Cyril Neville, Vanilla ice, Yo Mama's Big Fat Booty Band, Nash Street and Kenny Neal & the Louisiana Band, just to name a few.
Brinkley Entertainment will once again provide a full complement of kids' rides at the RibFest and Captain Jim will again be around to wow and entertain with his magic. The Kids Zone this year will be camel and pony rides provided by Carolina Camel Rides of Ramseur, NC.
