A 1,000-capacity concert hall, The Ramkat is downtown’s leading live music venue—known for excellent acoustics, great sightlines, and a genre-spanning concert calendar. Its upstairs sister space, Gas Hill, offers a second stage for intimate 100-person shows and late-night sets.
From nationally recognized acts like Mavis Staples and Everclear to rising artists and local favorites, The Ramkat continues to shape Winston-Salem’s modern music scene. And in the coming months, the lineup delivers something for every kind of listener, from folk and indie rock to bluegrass, R&B, tribute shows, and more. Below is a look at what’s on tap from late fall 2025 through spring 2026.

November 2
Kitchen Dwellers w/ Pressing Strings

A Montana–based quartet, Kitchen Dwellers deliver a “galaxy grass” fusion of bluegrass, Americana, and jam-band spirit. Their songs often drift between introspective and high-energy, weaving rich banjo, mandolin, and upright bass into expansive arrangements. VIP tickets include a pre-show acoustic performance, meet-and-greet, and exclusive merch bundle.

Lamont Landers

Alabama native Lamont Landers, a soulful singer-songwriter and guitarist, headlines this show inside The Gas Hill Drinking Room, the Ramkat’s intimate listening space. With roots in Southern rock, funk, and R&B, his music fuses gritty blues vocals, warm grooves, and heartfelt lyrics. He first gained attention with a viral “Hit the Road Jack” cover and now captivates audiences with raw, emotive originals.

East Nash Grass w/ AJ Lee

A Nashville-based progressive bluegrass quintet, East Nash Grass pairs virtuosic picking and tight harmonies with bold spirit and playful creativity. The group rose to prominence after earning the 2024 IBMA New Artist of the Year and turning dives into proving grounds for inventive bluegrass expression.
Opening the show is AJ Lee & Blue Summit, a California-based bluegrass and Americana group led by AJ’s velvety vocals and mandolin. Blending roots traditions with modern flair, they’re celebrated for their musicianship, heartfelt harmonies, and genre-crossing energy.

TopHouse

A genre-blending folk-rock outfit, TopHouse delivers fast-paced, high-energy stompers alongside tender, harmony-rich ballads. Mixing the drive of a rock band with the soul of old-fashioned bluegrass, the Nashville band is known for their authenticity, heart, and crowd-rousing energy—equal parts foot-tapping fun and emotional depth.

The Wallflowers w/ Jeff Slate

Fronted by Jakob Dylan, son of music icon Bob Dylan, The Wallflowers rose to fame in the 1990s with their Grammy-winning blend of roots rock and heartland storytelling. Known for hits like “One Headlight,” “6th Avenue Heartache,” and “Three Marlenas,” the band continues to deliver timeless, guitar-driven anthems with poetic flair.
Opening the show is Jeff Slate, a New York–based singer-songwriter and music journalist known for his commanding stage presence and deep ties to the rock scene.

Nightrain: The Guns N’ Roses Experience

Gaelic Storm

A high-energy Celtic rock ensemble rooted in Southern California, Gaelic Storm fuses Irish and Scottish traditional music with modern influences. Since forming in 1996, they’ve played over 2,000 shows, appeared in Titanic as the steerage band, and repeatedly topped the Billboard World charts.

His & Hers w/ John Howie Jr.

Playing inside The Gas Hill Drinking Room, His & Hers bring their signature folk-Americana sound laced with bluegrass spirit. Fronted by husband-and-wife duo Caleb and Sara Davis, the North Carolina-based band pairs soulful harmonies with acoustic guitar and mandolin. Their heartfelt originals and time-honored covers shine across four albums, including Come On In (2022) and Live at The Primavera Roadhouse, Vol. 1 (2024).
Opening the show is North Carolina honky-tonk legends John Howie Jr. & The Rosewood Bluff, led by veteran songwriter John Howie. Known for their soulful ballads, driving shuffles, and pedal-steel twang, they deliver a timeless sound steeped in Southern storytelling.
November 28
Camel City Yacht Club

A popular party band made up of local all-star musicians, Camel City Yacht Club thrives on smooth grooves, crowd favorites, and pure audience energy. Since forming near Winston-Salem, they’ve become a Triad favorite—especially on Black Friday—delivering upbeat yacht-rock classics from the ’70s and ’80s with polished harmonies and a spirited vibe.

Mitch Easter & The Gang play Let’s Active

Celebrating the newly remastered release of their classic I.R.S. Records catalog, Mitch Easter & The Gang revisit the shimmering, guitar-driven sound that helped define Southern jangle pop. A Winston-Salem native, Easter gained national acclaim as frontman of Let’s Active and producer of R.E.M.’s earliest albums. This special hometown show channels the melodic spark that made Let’s Active a cult favorite of the 1980s alternative scene.

Harvey Street w/ The Gringos

An indie/alt-rock outfit from Raleigh, Harvey Street blends atmospheric melodies and driving rhythms with Southern-inflected songwriting. They cut their teeth in local bars and college venues before releasing fan favorites like “Irish Goodbye” and “Betty,” now taking their sound to larger stages across the Southeast.
Opening the show is The Gringos, a five-piece indie band from Athens, Georgia. Blending rock, funk, country, and jazz with retro-tinged vocals and layered instrumentation, they channel classic ’70s influences while crafting a distinctly modern groove.

Time Sawyer

Now in its 12th year, FemFest returns to The Ramkat for an electrifying night celebrating women in music—all for a good cause. Headlining is The Finks, beloved local legends reuniting for the first time in years with their signature blend of punk energy and raw emotion. Also performing: Pie Face Girls (feminist punk favorites), The Gramps (gritty indie rockers), Burlap Circus (genre-bending newcomers), and YAWNi (dreamy alt-pop edge).
