A 1,000-capacity concert hall, The Ramkat is downtown’s leading live music venue—known for excellent acoustics, great sightlines, and a genre-spanning concert calendar. Its upstairs sister space, Gas Hill, offers a second stage for intimate 100-person shows and late-night sets.

From nationally recognized acts like Mavis Staples and Everclear to rising artists and local favorites, The Ramkat continues to shape Winston-Salem’s modern music scene. And in the coming months, the lineup delivers something for every kind of listener, from folk and indie rock to bluegrass, R&B, tribute shows, and more. Memphis-born blues-rock virtuoso Eric Gales delivers a fearless, genre-bending live show powered by incendiary guitar work and deep blues roots. Widely praised by peers as one of the best guitarists alive, Gales blends soul, rock, and modern edge into performances that are raw, dynamic, and unforgettable. Opening the night is Robert Jon & The Wreck, channeling classic Southern rock through soaring guitar leads, rich harmonies, and veteran songwriting.

Former Disney Channel stars Aly & AJ bring their Places to Run Tour to town, showcasing the evolution of their sound from early pop-rock roots to a confident, indie-pop style. Known for hits like “Potential Breakup Song” and a fiercely independent creative path, the sister duo delivers a polished, emotionally rich live show built on tight harmonies and sharp storytelling.

Two VIP options are available. The "Make It Look Easy" package ($168) includes a ticket, early entry, an intimate preshow performance, and exclusive merch. "You’re My Favorite Face" experience ($235) adds a meet & greet and personal photo with Aly & AJ.

Born in Kentucky and raised in Wyoming, Shelby Means has become one of the standout bassists and vocalists in modern bluegrass. A former member of the GRAMMY-nominated all-women band Della Mae, she's built a reputation for driving rhythm, warm vocals, and stage presence. She brings a mix of bluegrass, folk, and Americana to this intimate Gas Hill performance.

Don Was and the Pan-Detroit Ensemble bring a groove-forward celebration of Detroit’s musical legacy, blending jazz, funk, soul, and rock influences into a powerful live experience. In addition to selections from their debut album "Groove In The Face Of Adversity," the band will perform the Grateful Dead album "Blues for Allah" in its entirety. VIP tickets include reserved seating in the first two rows on the floor.

Opening the show will be NC-based country/bluegrass supergroup Songs From the Road.

Dallas-based Old 97’s are pioneers of alt-country, blending punk energy, rockabilly swagger, and country twang into a catalog that has fueled three decades of relentless touring. Led by Rhett Miller, the band delivers hook-filled songs, sharp storytelling, and a high-energy live show that continues to win over longtime fans and new listeners alike. Opening the show is Lizzie No, an NYC–based songwriter and guitarist whose contemporary folk sound blends lyrical depth with genre-crossing arrangements.
