About

Join us for a panel discussion on the evolving landscape of research methodologies and ethical considerations in the context of trans communities. Drawing inspiration from the exhibit Photos of a Moving Self: How Gender Shifted During the Pandemic, this conversation will feature experts in the field who will reflect on their experiences, share insights from their own research practices, and discuss the future of conducting meaningful and responsible research post-pandemic. The panel will feature Dr. Jessamyn Moxie, Curator of Photos of a Moving Self and Associate Professor of Public Health Sciences at UNC-Charlotte; Dr. Anson Koch-Rein, Assistant Professor in the Division of Liberal Arts at UNC School of the Arts; and Dr. Tivia Collins, Assistant Professor of Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Wake Forest University.
