Haze Gray Vineyards


Haze Gray Vineyards is a veteran-owned and operated boutique winery located in the Yadkin Valley AVA, nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Founded by Becky and Deane, a former U.S. Navy pilot, the winery reflects their shared vision of producing high-quality, estate-crafted wines in a relaxed, scenic setting.


Established on 85 acres of farmland purchased in 2015, the vineyard now includes nine acres of planted grapes. Haze Gray specializes in 100% estate-bottled wines, meaning all grapes are grown, produced, and bottled on-site, ensuring consistency and quality from vine to glass. The tasting room officially opened in December 2019.


Experience

Guests can enjoy guided tastings led by knowledgeable staff, offering insight into the winemaking process and the unique characteristics of each wine. Visitors may also choose from flights, glasses, or bottles to enjoy at their own pace. The property features ample indoor and outdoor seating, including a front porch, back deck, and two gazebos, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.


Set between vineyard rows and a neighboring pasture, the winery offers a tranquil environment where guests may occasionally see cows or horses grazing nearby. During warmer months, wine slushies are available in rotating flavors.


Amenities & Events

Haze Gray offers light snacks and wine-related merchandise in the tasting room. The winery regularly hosts events such as food trucks, live music, painting classes, and specialty wine pairings. Seasonal vineyard and winery tours are offered during the warmer months.


The property is pet-friendly and offers extensive outdoor seating. While children are permitted, they must be closely supervised. An on-site Airbnb provides an opportunity for guests to extend their stay and fully experience the vineyard setting.
