Giveaway Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement to the Official Rules: By participating in the Sweepstakes, all entrants fully and unconditionally agree to and accept these Official Rules and the Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Winning the prizes (described below) is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
2. Entry: To enter, complete all required fields in the entry form. Sweepstakes begin at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on Monday, March 17, 2025, and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on Monday, April 7, 2025. Entrants are limited to one (1) self-submitted entry. No automatic, programmed, robotic, or similar means of entry are permitted.
   1. This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Instagram. By entering, participants agree to release Instagram from any liability. For an entry to this form to be considered in the general prize drawing, participants must follow the official Visit Winston-Salem Instagram account and all brewery accounts tagged in the original giveaway Instagram post, like the giveaway post, and tag 1 friend in the comments. Only entries that comply with these requirements will be considered.
3.  Eligibility: This Sweepstakes is only open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry. Agents and employees of the Sponsor, Sweepstakes affiliates, and their respective affiliates, officers, distributors, agencies, and prize suppliers, and their immediate family members and persons residing in the same household of such employees, are not eligible to enter or win.
4. Drawing: Sponsor will select one winner at random on or about Tuesday, April 8, 2025. Entrants need not be present to win. Potential winner will be notified using the contact information provided in the entry form. If any prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or if the winner does not respond to notification within 48 hours of the date of notification, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected. If the winner cannot redeem the prize for any reason, all prizes will be forfeited, and no other reward or compensation will be provided. Except where prohibited by law, potential winner will be required to complete, sign, and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Ownership/Liability Release and Publicity Release (the “Affidavit”) and a Form W-9 Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification if the value exceeds $800. The Affidavit and Form W-9 must be returned within five (5) days from the prize notification email, or the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.
5. Prize/Odds: Sponsor will award 1x grand prize package. The winner will be selected at random to win the prize package listed below:

Grand Prize:

• A gift basket with assorted promotional items from the various participating breweries, that could include a selection of t-shirts, hats, bottle openers, and other branded merchandise, as well as gift cards from participating businesses.

Approximate value of the grand prize package is $200. Actual value may differ. The prize package is nontransferable. Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied, by Sponsor. Winner may not substitute, assign, or transfer a prize or redeem a prize for cash, but Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize with one of comparable or greater value at its sole discretion. All costs and expenses associated with Prize acceptance and use not specified herein are the sole responsibility of Winners. Sponsor will not be responsible for any loss, liability, or damage arising out of the winner’s acceptance or use of the prize.

Sponsor is not responsible for cancellations or delays in travel accommodations and has no obligation to reimburse, refund, or otherwise substitute any tickets awarded due to such cancellations or delays. Winner and guest are responsible for all travel documents required for travel. All travel risks, insurance, loss, or damage due to prize acceptance or use are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.

Event dates and times are determined in the sole discretion of the event organizer and may be subject to change. Seat locations will be determined by Sponsor. Each winner and guests agree to comply with all venue regulations in connection with each Prize. Sponsor reserves the right to remove or deny entry to any disruptive individuals.

1. Taxes/Fees: Winner is responsible for all taxes on prizes and expenses, including, without limitation, federal, state, and local sales, income, and luxury taxes and any other costs incurred in claiming or using the prize. Unclaimed prizes may not be awarded.
2. General: Sweepstakes is subject to federal, state, and local laws. By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to these Official Rules, which are final and binding. Entrants agree to allow Sponsor to use contestant’s email address for promotional purposes. Entrants will be able to unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time.

By participating, contestants release Sponsor, its sweepstakes affiliates, and their directors, officers, employees, and agents from any liability arising from contestant’s participation in this Sweepstakes or resulting from prize use or misuse.

Except where prohibited, acceptance of the prize signifies winner’s consent for Sponsor to use winner’s entry, name, city, state, prize information, and likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation, subject to federal, state, and local laws.

Sponsor is not responsible for any errors, omissions, technical malfunctions, or data transmission issues related to entry. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process or Website or to cancel or suspend the Sweepstakes should tampering, fraud, or technical failures compromise the integrity of the Sweepstakes.

1. WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT TO DAMAGE THE WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE SWEEPSTAKES OPERATION MAY VIOLATE CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
2. Disputes: Each entrant agrees that any dispute arising from the Sweepstakes will be resolved individually, without class action, by state or federal courts located in North Carolina. The laws of North Carolina will govern, without applying any choice of law rules.
