Located just 20 minutes north of Winston-Salem, JOLO Vineyards and Winery is one of North Carolina’s premier wine destinations, known for its exceptional wines, elevated dining, and breathtaking views. Due to its popularity, reservations are required for both wine tastings and dining experiences.


Tasting Experiences

JOLO offers a thoughtfully curated tasting experience featuring seven pre-selected wines that rotate seasonally to highlight the best of each vintage. Guests may also enjoy exclusive Cuvée Tasting Experiences, available on select dates throughout the year. Additional offerings include vertical tastings, wine-paired dinners, and special events.


Dining

The on-site End Posts Restaurant provides an award-winning culinary experience. Recognized by OpenTable as one of the Top 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America for two consecutive years, End Posts offers refined cuisine designed to pair perfectly with JOLO wines. Guests can enjoy wine by the glass or bottle alongside their meal.


Setting & Atmosphere

The tasting room delivers a striking ambiance, with an interior reminiscent of a European castle and elegant outdoor seating areas overlooking Pilot Mountain and Cox Lake, both located on the property. The vineyard itself spans approximately 80 acres, making JOLO the largest winegrower in North Carolina.

History

Founder JW Ray discovered his passion for wine after serving in the U.S. Army and working in the food and beverage industry. Following a successful career in financial services and software, he and his wife, Kristen, pursued their vision of vineyard ownership. In 2013, they relocated to North Carolina and established JOLO Vineyards and Winery, which has since grown into a leading winery in the region.
